John James Audubon Day

John Audubon Day, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Audubon State Historic Site, 11788 Highway 965, off of Highway 61 south of downtown St. Francisville. Today we remember the arrival of John James Audubon at Oakley Plantation on June 18, 1821. Various activities will be held throughout the day starting at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. These include a children’s bird project, a talk on Audubon at Oakley, a talk on the art of Audubon, a nature craft, and more.
