Explore open hearth cooking in the early 1800’s at Audubon State Historic Site. Costumed interpreters will be using period techniques, equipment, and recipes to demonstrate just how much effort it took to create the meals of yesterday. You might even be able to sample some of the dishes for yourself! The program is included in the standard grounds charge. The cost is $5.00 grounds fee.
