In recognition of Halloween, Rosedown State Historic Site will offer a special program exploring the fascinating—and sometimes unusual—funeral and mourning customs of the 19th century. From October 26 through November 1, visitors touring the Rosedown Main House will learn about the traditions, myths, and superstitions surrounding death, funerals, and mourning during the 1800s.
