Tourist Commission Announces New Executive Director

The West Feliciana Parish Tourist Commission is proud to announce April Taylor McGhee as the new Executive Director of Tourism.

A resident of St. Francisville, April brings a strong background in community engagement, marketing, and graphic design. Her passion for showcasing the unique charm, culture, and history of West Feliciana P arish, combined with her professional experience, positions her to lead the Commission into its next chapter of growth and visibility.

“I’ve known April professionally through her creative design work as well as her involvement in a number of local community organizations.  Myself and the other commissioners feel she is a great fit for the position and ready to hit the ground running.  We are excited to welcome her aboard!,” said Adrian Percy, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners.

April has built her career around connecting people, supporting local initiatives, and elevating the profile of the communities she serves. With a deep appreciation for the heritage and natural beauty of West Feliciana Parish, she is committed to working alongside local businesses, organizations, and residents to enhance tourism and strengthen the local economy.
